Bay Branded was born from a lifelong connection to the Chesapeake Bay — a place shaped by working boats, hidden creeks, changing tides, and stories passed down through generations.

Its waters hold centuries of maritime heritage, tales of pirates and shipwrecks, and the remnants of an ancient world that existed long before our time.

Among its most remarkable treasures are the fossilized teeth of the mighty Megalodon, a prehistoric predator that once ruled the ancient seas of the region. These discoveries remind us of the mystery, power, and extraordinary history hidden beneath the Bay’s waters.

Our signature Megalodon shark and tooth designs symbolize that connection — representing adventure, discovery, freedom, and the enduring spirit of the Chesapeake.

OUR BAY ROOTS

For generations, my family has lived, worked, and grown up along the Chesapeake Bay. From my grandparents navigating its creeks to my own childhood adventures, the Bay has always been more than a place to call home. It has been a playground, a classroom, and a constant source of inspiration.

Mornings were spent checking crab pots, afternoons exploring hidden beaches in search of ancient treasures, and evenings discovering stories of legendary shipwrecks, pirates, and the enormous creatures that once inhabited these waters.

Those experiences shaped a lifelong appreciation for the Chesapeake — its natural beauty, hardworking communities, rich history, and the sense of freedom that comes with life near the water.

That connection remains at the heart of Bay Branded. Every design carries a piece of the Bay’s character, inspired by the places, traditions, and adventures that have shaped generations of life along its shores.

OUR JOURNEY

Originally launched in 2018, Bay Branded has continued to evolve through setbacks, growth, and reinvention. What began as a personal connection to the Chesapeake has grown into an independent lifestyle brand inspired by its waters, heritage, and unmistakable character.
